The ASCO Modern Apprenticeship (MA) scheme provides individuals with the opportunity to gain work experience in warehousing and logistics operations, transport or business administration within the Oil and Gas industry; whilst working towards formal qualifications.

The MA is structured around a Level 3 NVQ in Warehousing, Logistics & Distribution or Business Administration. Apprentices also work towards attaining a Chartered Institute of Logistics Management (CILT) Introductory Certificate in Logistics and Transport.  Practical experience throughout the two years is gained at one of ASCO’s UK warehousing facilities or site offices.

As well as studying for the NVQ and CILT qualifications, additional training is offered in health and safety and personal skills, including: presentation skills, report writing and communication.

Towards the end of the second year, Apprentices are also invited to enrol in the ASCO Academy suite of Supervisory and Management Development programmes which are accredited by the Institute of Logistics Management.
