Like most people who visit ASCOWorld I’m sure you lead a busy life and want to get to the information you are looking for quickly.

The chances are you stumbled across this page by mistake (why else read the Chairman’s welcome?), so I’ll also try to keep it brief and make it as interesting as I can.

The services ASCO provides are described in some detail elsewhere on this site, and I’m pretty sure you will find a broadly similar range described on the sites of our competitors.  But just reading about our services doesn’t tell you much about the kind of company we are, what we believe to be different about ASCO and what is really important to us.

We have a simple business philosophy – to be successful we need to look after our customers better than anyone else and, over the long term, the only way to really do that is to invest consistently in the quality of our people.

We also have a simple goal – we want to make ASCO the world leader in oil and gas supply chain services. To get there we need two things:

• Clients who will push us and challenge us - who will work with us to help us provide them with a unique service absolutely tailored to their needs.

• Employees who will be with us every step of the way – who want to be part of a successful, pioneering company; who want to make a difference.

The two things that matter more than anything to us are our staff and our customers.  That’s not to say that we’re not passionate about other issues such health & safety or the environment or the growth of our company.  We are, extremely so, but we believe that by looking after the people we employ and those who buy our services, then together we can address all of the other issues affecting our business.
