ASCO manages and operates oil and gas supply bases in Europe and the Americas for most of the world's leading oil and gas companies. Apache, BP, Canadian Superior Energy Inc., Centrica, ConocoPhilips, ExxonMobil, Marathon, Nexen, PetroCanada, Shell, Talisman, Total and Repsol are all current users of ASCO's base management services.
Increasingly, we're also supporting a number of independent operators like ADTI, ATP and Perenco - providing customised supply chain solutions that meet their specific needs.
Most of our bases support offshore operations - no surprise, given our North Sea heritage. But we are now also pioneering the concept of onshore supply bases to support our clients on the burgeoning Alberta oil sands.
To meet the multi-faceted challenges of running successful supply bases, we employ a diverse range of managerial and professional talent. In ASCO, you'll find teams that blend skills in materials, marine, warehouse, inventory, transport, quayside, facilities, IT, environmental and operations management.
You'll also find a comprehensive suite of systems and processes that are tried and tested in the field and have benefited from our experience of working with the world's leading oil and gas companies.
Like our clients, we are aware that we operate in an industry that presents many dangers to life and limb, to assets and to the environment. We take our health and safety responsibilities extremely seriously and invest significant time, effort and money in our health and safety personnel, systems and behavioural programmes.
